Join Scuba Toys of Dallas to Dunbar Rock from June 18 through 25 in 2022, 8 days & 7 nights for an all-inclusive experience. Villa on Dunbar Rock is not just a resort – it’s a dream vacation destination. A visit to Dunbar Rock offers a unique dive experience from start to finish, just 7 miles from Roatan. Perched on a cay with 360° views of Sandy Bay, Guanaja, and surrounding cays, this unique resort blends beauty, serenity, and something unidentifiable in a laid-back, inviting atmosphere.
Diver package includes 5 days with 3 dives daily (including 1-night dive), and 2 dives on Friday by way of boat. Plus, unlimited tanks for shallow water shore diving around the Villa.
There are 50+ named Guanaja dive sites, another 6 or so “kept secret” by the Dunbar Rock dive staff for their guests only. More dive sites are being discovered every day along the barrier reef off Guanaja and around the numerous cays that surround the island.
The “rock” on which the Villa is built is surrounded by flats perfect for snorkeling and very (we mean very!) shallow water shore diving. If shore diving in 8′ – 10′ of water is okay in your book, the dive is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The rocks and coral heads that encase the circumference of the Villa are home to many juvenile fish, including drums and queen angelfish. Purple sea fans wave in the shallows in every direction. Schools of squid hang midway in the water column with Needle Fish just under the surface. This is all to be seen just steps off the sandy beach. Moreover, you can dive in as often as you wish. Tanks for shore diving the house reef are included free of charge in your dive package.
